[Jinan, Shandong – January 28, 2026] – The Asian International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), led by President Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, recently paid an official visit to the leadership of the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce. The meeting focused on depending cooperation for the upcoming “Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2026 (TESE 2026).” The delegation was warmly received by Liu Feifei, Deputy Director General of the Service Trade Division, and Wei Rui, Deputy General Manager of Shandong Zhenghe International Exhibition Co., Ltd.

Elevating “TESE 2026” to a Key Strategic Event during the discussion, the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce shared the significant news that “TESE 2026” has been officially included in the “Key Recommended Overseas Exhibitions Directory” for Shandong Province. This designation underscores the government’s confidence in the exhibition’s potential as a premier gateway for trade into the ASEAN region.
The Department reaffirmed its commitment to mobilizing high-quality enterprises from across the province to participate. Furthermore, the government will provide subsidy policies for participating companies, ensuring that Shandong businesses can explore the Thai and ASEAN markets through direct and efficient e-commerce channels at a minimized cost.

Roadshow and ASEAN Market Analysis Seminar To ensure participants are well-prepared, both parties agreed to organize an “ASEAN Market Development and Analysis Seminar” in Shandong between March and April 2026. AITIA will lead a Thai delegation to provide in-depth insights into:
- Thailand’s cross-border e-commerce regulations and market entry policies.
- Detailed analysis of suitable industries and regional participation within China.
- Clear guidelines on Thai government support and incentives for international exhibitors.

Strategic Enhancements: Influencers and Brand Identity To maximize the impact for exhibitors, the meeting also concluded on several high-value initiatives:
- Influencer & KOL Engagement: Utilizing Influencers/KOLs for pre-event promotion and industry site visits to build early momentum.
- Distinctive Pavilion Identity: The Shandong pavilion will feature unique branding that reflects the province’s identity, including structural enhancements such as increased signage height for better visibility.
- Targeted Business Matching: Organizing specialized matchmaking sessions and brand keynote speeches by Shandong officials during the exhibition forum.
- On-site Inspections: Arranging field visits for Shandong entrepreneurs to explore Thai overseas warehouses and major wholesale markets.
The Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce expressed high expectations for AITIA to attract a significant number of quality buyers and business partners to the event. This collaboration marks a vital step in strengthening Thailand-China trade ties through the rapidly evolving digital economy.
