On January 28, 2026, the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), led by President Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, held an official meeting with senior executives from the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce. The delegation was welcomed by Liu Feifei, Deputy Director of the Service Trade Division, and Wei Rui, Deputy General Manager of Shandong Zhenghe International Exhibition Co., Ltd., to discuss in-depth preparations for the “Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2026 (TESE 2026).”

The President of AITIA expressed her gratitude to the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce for including TESE 2026 in the province’s “Key Recommended Overseas Exhibitions Directory.” This inclusion underscores the confidence in the event’s potential as a strategic gateway for trade into the ASEAN region.
Executives from the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce emphasized the importance of this e-commerce expo. They announced plans to organize a delegation of high-quality enterprises from Shandong to exhibit in Thailand. Furthermore, the department will provide to participating companies to reduce costs and encourage the use of effective e-commerce channels to expand into the Thai and ASEAN markets.

To prepare Shandong entrepreneurs, both parties agreed that between March and April 2026, AITIA will lead a delegation to conduct the “ASEAN Market Analysis & Development Seminar” in Shandong. The seminar will provide insights into Go-to-Market policies, cross-border e-commerce regulations, and various trade benefits.

To ensure maximum success for Shandong exhibitors, both parties reached a consensus on an Action Plan for TESE 2026, featuring:
- Proactive Promotion: AITIA will engage Influencers and KOLs for pre-event marketing to drive attendance.
- Branding & Booth Identity: Enhancing Shandong’s presence through distinctive booth designs, including elevated provincial signage for maximum visibility.
- Targeted Business Matching: Organizing niche matchmaking sessions during the event to facilitate actual transactions.
- Field Study Tours: Organizing site visits to wholesale markets in Thailand for Shandong businessmen to understand local logistics systems.
