HEFEI, China – On the morning of January 29, 2026, a delegation from the Asian International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), led by Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of AITIA, paid an official visit to the Anhui Import and Export Chamber of Commerce (AIECC). The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Liu Xiliang, Vice President of AIECC.
The meeting focused on deepening economic cooperation between Anhui Province and Thailand through cross-border e-commerce and offline trade exhibitions, aiming to capitalize on emerging opportunities within the ASEAN market.
Synergy in Manufacturing and Innovation
During the talks, Mr. Liu Xiliang highlighted the robust trade relationship between Anhui and Thailand. As a vital hub of the Yangtze River Delta, Anhui possesses a strong manufacturing foundation, particularly in electronic information, intelligent equipment, and cross-border e-commerce.
“The industrial structures of Anhui and Thailand are highly complementary,” stated Mr. Liu. “We hope to leverage this meeting to build a more efficient exchange platform with AITIA, assisting Anhui enterprises in exploring the Thai and ASEAN markets while welcoming Thai businesses to invest and thrive in Anhui.”

Promoting “Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2026”
Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of AITIA and former Consul-General of Thailand in Kunming, along with Honorary President Mr. Wu Zhiyi and the delegation members, expressed great interest in Anhui’s support policies for foreign trade.
Mrs. Chamaiporn introduced Thailand’s latest policy trends for 2026 and highlighted AITIA’s flagship upcoming event: the “Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2026.” She emphasized that this expo would serve as a strategic gateway for Anhui’s high-quality products to enter Thailand’s booming digital marketplace.
“Anhui’s industrial advantages and foreign trade incentives are impressive,” said Mrs. Chamaiporn. “We look forward to close collaboration, including organizing Anhui enterprises to participate in our expo and hosting the ‘Anhui Brand Industry Matchmaking’ events. These initiatives will build a precise bridge for business-to-business (B2B) cooperation, driving trade to a deeper and broader level.”

A Vision for Future Growth
Both parties concluded the meeting with a commitment to establish a robust trade service and investment platform. By utilizing their respective regional advantages, AITIA and AIECC aim to inject new vitality into commodity trade and cross-border e-commerce, ensuring a sustainable “win-win” partnership for enterprises across ASEAN and Anhui Province.
