
The Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) met with the China Association of Trade in Services (CATIS) in Beijing to launch the “Thai-China E-commerce Industry Alliance,” driving digital economy growth and promoting Thailand E-commerce Selection Expo 2026.

BEIJING, CHINA – January 26, 2026 – The Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) has taken a significant step in strengthening cross-border economic ties by conducting an official high-level visit to the China Association of Trade in Services (CATIS) in Beijing, aiming to revolutionize the e-commerce landscape between Thailand and China.

Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of AITIA, led the delegation to meet with Mr. Li Jun, Secretary-General of CATIS. The meeting commenced with a warm welcome from the CATIS executives, followed by an in-depth briefing on the association’s mission, historical background, and its pivotal role in international service trade.

Synergizing Thai-China Economic Interests
During the discussion, Mrs. Chamaiporn presented AITIA’s strategic roadmap for 2026, highlighting six major grand-scale exhibitions scheduled to take place in Thailand. The presentation specifically focused on two flagship projects:
- Thailand E-commerce Selection Expo 2026
- DigiTech 2026
Both parties engaged in a deep exchange of insights regarding these upcoming exhibitions and CATIS’s own international initiatives. The dialogue led to a mutual consensus: “Exhibitions as the Starting Point, Forums as the Foundation for Collaboration.”

The highlight of this official visit was the agreement to establish the “Thai-China E-commerce Industry Alliance.” This landmark partnership is designed to synchronize the efforts of both nations in developing and scaling a robust E-Commerce Complex (Ecosystem).
By integrating resources and expertise, the alliance aims to foster sustainable growth, streamline digital trade, and provide a comprehensive platform for entrepreneurs to thrive in the modern digital economy.
