
Bangkok – 22 January 2026 – The Private Institution Association of Thailand (PISA), led by Mr. Manit Boonprasert, together with Dr. Nuwong Cholkup, Deputy Director of the Office of the National Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sappasit Limnarrat, Senior Vice President for Special Projects and Corporate Communication Strategy, welcomed Ms. Lu Huijuan and a delegation from the China Energy Research Society (CERS) for discussions on academic and professional collaboration.
The meeting aimed to connect knowledge and expertise between higher education institutions and the private sector within the clean energy industry, with a focus on key disciplines that are in high demand in the global market, including:
- Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plant Operation and Maintenance
- Energy Storage and Battery Technologies
- Electrical Engineering and Energy Management
In addition, both parties exchanged important insights on labor market trends. PISA presented data on student demand and approaches to curriculum development aligned with new energy industry standards, with the goal of preparing graduates to effectively enter the international labor market.
This collaboration marks a significant step toward enhancing the standards of Thai higher education to keep pace with global energy technology advancements, while also fostering a sustainable cooperation network between Thailand and China.
