AITIA Leads CCPIT Shanxi Delegation on Courtesy Visit to OSMEP to Strengthen Thailand–China SME Cooperation

The Asian International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) led a high-level delegation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanxi Committee (CCPIT Shanxi) on a courtesy visit to the Office of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion (OSMEP) to strengthen cooperation in supporting SMEs and promoting bilateral trade and investment between Thailand and China.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Wachira Kaewkor, Deputy Director General of the Office of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion (OSMEP). The Chinese delegation was led by Mr. Li Huiyi, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanxi Committee (CCPIT Shanxi).
During the meeting, both parties introduced their respective organizations, missions, and strategic priorities, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration in trade promotion, investment facilitation, and SME development.


Mr. Li Huiyi presented the economic strengths of Shanxi Province, highlighting its advantages in the mining, energy, and cultural tourism industries. He also expressed his strong support for welcoming Thai enterprises and high-quality Thai products into the Shanxi market, creating new business opportunities for entrepreneurs from both countries.
Both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation through information exchange on trade, investment, and SME development, while encouraging Business Matching activities and participation in international trade exhibitions organized in Thailand and China. These initiatives aim to expand business networks and create tangible opportunities for enterprises in both countries.

This meeting marks an important milestone in enhancing Thailand–Shanxi relations and demonstrates a shared commitment to promoting sustainable economic cooperation, expanding trade and investment, and creating new opportunities for SMEs in Thailand and China.
