Asian–International Trade and Investment Association Attends ADSX 2026 Opening Ceremony, Exploring the Future of AI and Asia’s Digital Economy
The Asian–International Trade and Investment Association participated in the official opening ceremony of the Asia DigiCommerce Services Xpo 2026 (ADSX 2026), held on 24 June 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand. The event serves as a major platform for digital technology, e-commerce, and artificial intelligence (AI), bringing together entrepreneurs, technology developers, investors, and industry experts from across Asia.
The opening ceremony featured distinguished representatives from leading AI and logistics organizations who shared their perspectives on the future of the digital economy. Ms. Cindy Lang, Chairwoman of the Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, highlighted the transformative role of AI in enhancing business competitiveness, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a robust innovation ecosystem.
Meanwhile, Ms. Yanling Zheng, Secretary General of the Shenzhen Logistics and Supply Chain Management Association, emphasized the critical importance of logistics and supply chain management in supporting the continued growth of e-commerce and the digital economy, which are key drivers of economic development in the digital era.
In addition, Dr. Chit Laowattana delivered a special keynote presentation on global AI development trends, outlining the economic opportunities created by AI adoption across various industries. He also addressed key challenges related to data management, workforce development, and technology governance, stressing the importance of cross-sector collaboration to ensure sustainable growth.
The event also featured panel discussions involving government representatives, business leaders, and industry specialists who exchanged views on the rapid growth of social commerce and the application of AI in consumer behavior analysis, personalized customer experiences, and business expansion opportunities within Asia’s fast-growing digital marketplace.
