AITIA Strengthens Thailand–China Industrial Cooperation through Meeting with China General Machinery Industry Association

On 23 June 2026, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in Beijing, People’s Republic of China, Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuecharorn, President of the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), led an association delegation to meet with the China General Machinery Industry Association (CGMA) to discuss future cooperation in trade exhibitions and industrial networking between Thailand and China.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Zonglie Zhang, Vice President of CGMA, and Ms. Fang Sun, Vice President and Secretary General of CGMA. During the meeting, both organizations introduced their respective backgrounds, missions, and industry expertise while exchanging views on opportunities for long-term collaboration.

CGMA is one of China’s leading industrial associations, representing more than 1,600 member companies across 14 machinery sectors, including pumps, blowers, compressors, and other general machinery industries. Recognizing the strong alignment between CGMA’s membership and the Intermach exhibition, Mrs. Chamaiporn formally invited Mr. Zhang and CGMA members to participate in Intermach 2027 in Bangkok, Thailand.
In return, Mr. Zhang invited AITIA to lead a delegation of Thai entrepreneurs to attend the China (Shanghai) International Fluid Machinery Expo in Shanghai, organized by CGMA, to explore advanced technologies, exchange industry knowledge, and strengthen business cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting marked another important milestone in fostering stronger Thailand–China industrial partnerships and expanding business opportunities through international exhibitions, technology exchange, and long-term collaboration. The visit concluded with a commemorative group photograph.
