Zhangzhou Commerce Bureau & Asian-International Trade Association Plot Southeast Asia Market Expansion

ZHANGZHOU, CHINA – The Zhangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce recently hosted a delegation from the Asian-International Trade And Investment Association (AITIA) for working talks focused on deepening bilateral economic ties, promoting cross-border e-commerce, and collaboratively tapping into the lucrative Southeast Asian market.

Deepening Economic & Trade Cooperation
Bureau Director Sun Ke, Deputy Director Shen Yuanbiao, and key personnel welcomed the AITIA delegation. Director Sun highlighted Zhangzhou’s robust advantages in industrial resources, foreign trade development, and its burgeoning e-commerce sector.
The AITIA representative provided a detailed outlook on the potential of the Thai e-commerce market. Crucially, they extended a formal invitation for Director Sun to lead a delegation of Zhangzhou enterprises to the highly anticipated 2026 Thailand E-commerce Selection Expo. This strategic move aims to facilitate direct business matching and cooperation between enterprises from Zhangzhou and Thailand.

Targeting the Thai & ASEAN E-commerce Hub
Both parties reached a consensus, affirming that the talks established a strong foundation for future collaboration. The mutual goal is to jointly leverage e-commerce channels to introduce more high-quality “Made in Zhangzhou” products into the Thai and ASEAN markets.
Following the productive session, a group photo was taken to commemorate the friendly and strategic cooperative moment.
