Royal Household Bureau Announcement: Official Visit to the People’s Republic of China
The Royal Household Bureau has issued an announcement that His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen will pay an official visit to the People’s Republic of China from November 13 to 17, B.E. 2568 (2025), in response to an invitation from Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China.
Key Occasion: Celebrating 50 Years of Diplomatic Relations
This historic Royal Visit is of paramount importance for strengthening the close friendship between Thailand and China and promoting greater mutual understanding between the people of the two nations. Significantly, the visit coincides with the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Thai-Chinese Diplomatic Relations.
Key Schedule in Beijing
November 14, B.E. 2568 (2025)
- Official Welcome Ceremony: At the Great Hall of the People, attended by President Xi Jinping and his wife.
- Royal Dialogue: With the President of the People’s Republic of China and his wife.
- Royal Audience: Granting an audience to Mr. Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.
- Official Dinner: A formal dinner hosted by the President and his wife at the Great Hall of the People.
Other Important Engagements
During the visit, His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen will lay a wreath at the Monument to the People’s Heroes in Tiananmen Square and visit various key sites showcasing China’s technological and cultural advancements, including:
- Lingguang Temple
- Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center
- Education Technology and Resources Development Center, Chinese Academy of Space Technology
- China Astronaut Research and Training Center
- Beijing Aerospace Control Center
Additionally, Their Majesties will visit the Palace Museum (Forbidden City) to view the special exhibition, “Ten Thousand Blessings, Eternal Friendship: Exhibition of Artifacts Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Thai-Chinese Diplomatic Relations” and the Hall of Supreme Harmony.
