On June 19, 2025, the Asian – International Trade and Investment Association paid an official visit to the Shangrao Municipal Bureau of Commerce in Jiangxi Province, People’s Republic of China. The delegation was led by Honorary President Mrs. Chamaiporn Juercharoen, Honorary Advisor Mr. Ekawut Juercharoen, and Honorary President Mr. Wu Zhiyi.
The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Yu Xiaobin, Director of the Bureau, and Mr. Cheng Kai, Deputy Director. Both sides exchanged key economic data and discussed industrial strengths, investment trends, and potential collaboration between Thailand and Shangrao.
During the meeting, the association introduced the upcoming Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2025 (TESE 2025), scheduled to take place from September 25 to 27, 2025, at IMPACT Exhibition Center in Bangkok. The association extended an official invitation to Shangrao to join the event and explore business opportunities in the ASEAN e-commerce market.
The visit marked a meaningful step toward strengthening sub-national trade and investment ties between China and Thailand, with both sides expressing interest in deepening cooperation across multiple sectors.
