
Dezhou, Shandong (March 26, 2026) – The Asian-International Trade and Investment Association, led by its President Ms. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, in collaboration with the Dezhou Foreign Affairs Office, successfully hosted the “ASEAN Market Analysis Seminar” in Dezhou, Shandong Province, China. The event aimed to equip local entrepreneurs with economic insights, business guidelines, and risk management strategies for investing in Thailand, while officially promoting the highly anticipated “Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2026.”

The seminar garnered significant interest from business professionals and entrepreneurs in Dezhou. During the opening ceremony, Mr. Zhang Fangrui, Party Secretary and Director of the Dezhou Foreign Affairs Office, delivered the welcoming remarks. He emphasized the strategic importance of the ASEAN region, which has now become China’s top foreign trade market, surpassing the United States and Europe.
Furthermore, the event featured insightful presentations from distinguished guest speakers and representatives from both the public and private sectors, including:
- Thai-Chinese Trade Overview: Mr. Sakarn Saensopa, Director of the Thai Trade Center in Shanghai, presented an overview of the robust and growing trade and investment cooperation between Thailand and China over recent years.
- Deep Dive into Thai E-commerce: Mr. Lin Kanru, a representative from Lazada, shared key statistics and growth trends of Thailand’s e-commerce sector, helping entrepreneurs identify market expansion opportunities.
- Chinese Government Support: Representatives from the Dezhou Foreign Affairs Office (including Mr. Tan Mingming, Deputy Director) provided guidance on applying for the APEC Business Travel Card to facilitate international business travel. Meanwhile, Ms. Wang Ying, Director of the Foreign Trade Division at the Dezhou Commerce Bureau, explained policies designed to support and facilitate Chinese entrepreneurs in conducting “legal” and sustainable foreign trade.

The main highlight of the event was the “ASEAN Market Analysis” session led by Mr. Wu Zhiyi, Honorary President of the Association. He provided an in-depth analysis of the current market situation in Thailand, golden opportunities, potential risks for investors, and essential strategies for adapting to the local Thai culture.

In addition, Mr. Wu Zhiyi introduced the Association’s flagship event, the Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2026, inviting Chinese entrepreneurs interested in expanding their trade and investment base in Thailand via e-commerce channels to participate. The expo is expected to be a crucial platform for networking and future business expansion.
