The event also featured the “ASEAN Market Analysis Seminar, Agreement Signing, and Office Plaque Handover Ceremony,” aimed at elevating bilateral cooperation and preparing Chinese entrepreneurs to expand their trade and investment bases into Thailand.

The meeting took place from 09:30 to 11:30 (Beijing Time), with over 50 member enterprises from the Anhui Import and Export Chamber of Commerce in attendance. During the event, Mr. Zhang Danning, President of the Anhui Chamber, delivered the opening remarks and warmly welcomed the Thai delegation. He emphasized the significance of the ASEAN market, stating, “Currently, China’s foreign trade continues to rise. Strikingly, the import and export value to the ASEAN region accounts for more than half of the total volume. Therefore, ASEAN is a crucial economic strategic point for Chinese enterprises.”
Ms. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of AITIA, addressed the region’s potential and business opportunities, saying, “The ASEAN region is a massive market with a combined population of over 700 million. It also has a high demand for infrastructure development, which perfectly aligns with the prominent industries of Anhui Province.”
A major highlight of the event was the “ASEAN Market Analysis” session. Mr. Wu Zhiyi, Honorary President, provided an in-depth lecture on Thailand’s economic situation, market overview, investment opportunities, and challenges. He also offered strategic advice on adapting to the local culture to help Chinese entrepreneurs manage business risks effectively. Furthermore, the session served to promote the Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2026, inviting interested entrepreneurs to explore business and investment opportunities in Thailand through the country’s rapidly growing e-commerce platforms.

The meeting concluded with a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony and the exchange of office plaques between the two associations. This marks a significant step toward concrete integration, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that members of both parties receive maximum facilitation, support, and benefits to drive sustainable business and trade growth between Anhui Province and Thailand.
