On June 25, 2025, a delegation from the Asian International Trade and Investment Association, led by Honorary Chairwoman Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuercharoen, Honorary Advisor Mr. Eakawut Juercharoen, and Honorary President Mr. Wu Zhiyi, met with representatives from the Shandong Department of Commerce. The Chinese side was represented by Mr. Qiu Tianbin, Chief Representative of the Shandong Provincial Government Representative Office for Economic and Trade Affairs in Southeast Asia, Ms. Liu Feifei, Deputy Director of the Service Trade Division, and Mr. Meng Ze, Third-Level Officer of the Service Trade Division.
The discussion focused on collaboration for the Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2025 (TESE 2025), to be held from September 25–27, 2025, at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok. The Shandong Department of Commerce responded positively, expressing support to organize a delegation of enterprises and investors to attend, aiming to foster long-term business partnerships and deepen Thai-Chinese trade cooperation.
The delegation also presented the “Thai Influencers Visit China” project, which seeks to bring Thai influencers and young entrepreneurs to visit factories, industrial cities, and tourist attractions in China, promoting a positive image of Chinese industry, strengthening Thai consumer confidence, and expanding multi-sector cooperation. The Chinese side expressed keen interest and readiness to coordinate closely.
Furthermore, the meeting discussed cooperation regarding Intermach 2026, a major industrial machinery exhibition. As one of China’s key centers of machinery industry, Shandong sees great potential to exchange technology and foster joint investment with Thai enterprises. Both sides agreed to maintain close communication, jointly promote projects, enhance industry capacity, and expand markets, strengthening bilateral trade relations into the future.
