The Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) welcomed representatives from the China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association for a business meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in agricultural machinery exhibitions and industry development between Thailand and China.
Mr. Montri Pongpan, Honorary President of AITIA, represented the association in welcoming the Chinese delegation, led by Mr. You Ling, Vice President of the association, and Mr. Sun Can, Director of International Affairs.
The meeting focused on expanding bilateral cooperation in the agricultural machinery sector, including technology exchange, business networking, and the development of international exhibition collaborations between enterprises from both countries.
One of the key discussion topics was the preparation and cooperation for hosting CIAME 2027 (China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition) in Thailand. The initiative aims to position Thailand as a regional hub for agricultural machinery innovation and industry development within ASEAN.
In addition, the Chinese delegation expressed strong interest and readiness to participate in Farm Expo 2026, which is scheduled to take place in Thailand this September. The exhibition is expected to create valuable opportunities for technology exchange and business partnerships in the agricultural sector.
This meeting marks another significant step in strengthening Thailand–China cooperation in agricultural industries and reflects both parties’ commitment to promoting innovation, technology exchange, and sustainable industrial growth on the international stage.
The Asian-International Trade and Investment Association will continue supporting and updating members on the progress of these international cooperation projects and upcoming activities.
