On May 15, 2026, the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) welcomed Mr. Liu Shuyi, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangxi Committee (CCPIT Guangxi), together with representatives from more than 18 enterprises from Guangxi, during their participation in INTERMACH 2026.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in exhibitions, trade, investment, and ASEAN market expansion between Thailand and China.
AITIA presented Thailand’s major international exhibitions and business events scheduled for 2026, including TESE 2026, Farm Expo 2026, and DigiTech 2026, while encouraging Guangxi enterprises to expand into Thailand and ASEAN markets through leading E-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok.

During the discussion, CCPIT Guangxi also invited Thai entrepreneurs to participate in the The 23rd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit 2026, scheduled to take place from September 17–19, 2026 in Nanning, China. The event will include business matching activities and investment negotiation sessions between Chinese and ASEAN enterprises.
The Guangxi delegation also showcased the region’s industrial strengths in environmental technologies, construction materials, processed agriculture, food industries, AI technologies, logistics development, and legal support services for foreign investors.
A key highlight of the meeting was the mutual agreement to develop a “Joint Bilateral Support Mechanism” aimed at reducing participation costs for entrepreneurs joining international exhibitions and business activities, while facilitating ASEAN market expansion more effectively.
This meeting further reinforced the role of the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association as a key platform for international business connectivity, investment cooperation, and cross-border trade development between Thailand, China, and ASEAN.
