
Shijiazhuang, People’s Republic of China – On March 23, 2026, Ms. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), led an association delegation to visit Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, China. The visit was at the invitation of the Hebei Science and Technology Enterprises Going Global Comprehensive Service Center, aiming to explore the Center’s capabilities, discuss potential cooperation, and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on international product exchange.

During the visit, the AITIA delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Wang Zhongqun, Former Level-2 Inspector of the Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce, and Ms. Li Jihong, Manager of the Center. The hosts guided the delegation through the facility, including an exhibition zone showcasing innovative products from various leading industries in Hebei.

Ms. Li Jihong explained that the Center was established with strong support from the Shijiazhuang Municipal Government and the Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce. It currently serves over 107 industry groups with the primary mission of assisting and empowering Hebei enterprises to successfully expand into the global market. The Center offers comprehensive services, such as promoting the establishment of overseas research laboratories, organizing capacity-building training, and driving cross-border e-commerce.

Following the facility tour, executives from both organizations held an in-depth discussion on integrating their collaborative efforts, focusing on supporting entrepreneurs from both sides in business negotiations. On this occasion, Ms. Chamaiporn presented AITIA’s strategic plan and activities for 2026. She extended a formal invitation to the Center to gather potential entrepreneurs and members to participate in upcoming trade shows and business matching events in Thailand. Key highlights include:
- Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2026, scheduled to take place in August 2026.
- A series of Thai-Hebei Trade Seminars, scheduled for March and September 2026.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reached an agreement and officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly promote the exchange of products, innovation, and investment between Thailand and Hebei Province. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for AITIA in opening trade doors, building international alliances, and strongly guiding Thai entrepreneurs into the Chinese market.
