
The President of the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) met with the Vice President of the China Agricultural Exhibition Association in Beijing to strengthen collaboration for Farm Expo 2026 in Thailand and the 23rd CATF in Hangzhou, aiming to maximize benefits for agricultural entrepreneurs of both nations.
BEIJING, CHINA (March 23, 2026) – At 09:00 AM local time, Ms. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), led a delegation to meet with Mr. Song Daiqiang, Vice President of the China Agricultural Exhibition Association. The meeting aimed to discuss strategic guidelines for promoting bilateral agricultural trade and investment, as well as to elevate cooperation in organizing international agricultural exhibitions.

The official visit was held to express gratitude to the China Agricultural Exhibition Association for including the upcoming “Farm Expo,” scheduled to be held from September 24-27, 2026, in Thailand, in their 2026 annual work plan. During the meeting, Ms. Chamaiporn provided detailed updates on the event’s preparation and current status. In response, Mr. Song Daiqiang reaffirmed the association’s strong commitment to bringing a delegation of high-potential Chinese agricultural entrepreneurs to participate and engage in business matching at the expo.
To further strengthen their strategic partnership, AITIA announced the inclusion of the “China International Agricultural Trade Fair (CATF)” into its own annual strategic plan. CATF, a premier national event initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and managed by the China Agricultural Exhibition Association, will serve as a vital platform to showcase premium Thai agricultural products and expand their market reach across various provinces in China.

Mr. Song Daiqiang provided additional insights regarding the 23rd CATF, which will take place in Hangzhou this November. A special highlight of this year’s edition is the integration of three major Chinese agricultural exhibitions into a single mega-event, guaranteeing multiplied success and unprecedented business opportunities. He also extended an official invitation to AITIA to lead a delegation of interested Thai agricultural entrepreneurs to participate in this grand event.
In the final session, executives from both associations engaged in in-depth discussions regarding support policies and facilitation measures for entrepreneurs from both countries. The shared goal is to ensure that Thai and Chinese business operators participating in these two major trade fairs will gain maximum benefits, effectively expand their business networks, and drive sustainable growth in international trade.
