
Bangkok – The Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) has announced a significant collaboration with the Thai Restaurant Association (TRA) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), establishing a strategic business partnership aimed at integrating resources and expertise to strengthen the competitiveness of Thai restaurant entrepreneurs in today’s dynamic market environment.
The MOU signing ceremony was officiated by Ms. Chamaiporn Juacharoen, President of AITIA, and Ms. Thaniwan Kulmongkol, President of the Thai Restaurant Association, as the principal signatories. Ms. Waraporn Jongboonnanont and Mr. Surawat Akkaraworamas attended the ceremony as witnesses.

Objectives of the Collaboration
This partnership aims to support entrepreneurs across multiple dimensions, including:
- Market Expansion: Promoting business growth opportunities and access to new business tools and platforms.
- Thai–China Business Network: Facilitating business linkages between TRA members and entrepreneurs in the People’s Republic of China.
- International Promotion: Jointly publicizing trade fairs, exhibitions, and related activities in both Thailand and China.
- Member Privileges: Providing special benefits such as discounted exhibition booth fees and introductions to suitable business partners.
Roles and Implementation
Under this agreement, AITIA will play a key role in facilitating market entry into China for TRA members by providing support services, member privileges, business matchmaking, study visits, and participation in trade exhibitions. Meanwhile, the Thai Restaurant Association will collaborate in planning and coordinating activities to ensure its members can effectively access and benefit from competitiveness-enhancing initiatives jointly organized with AITIA.
The MOU will be effective from the date of signing until 31 December 2029, representing a shared commitment to strengthening Thailand’s food and service industries at the regional level.
