
On Saturday, December 13, the delegation from the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) held a strategic working meeting with the China Information Association (CIA). Mr. Li Hong, Vice President of CIA, along with key departmental heads, welcomed the delegation to discuss practical collaboration in the digital economy, exhibition synergy, and industrial exchange.

During the dialogue, AITIA presented its vision for the “Digital Economy Expo” scheduled to take place in Thailand in 2026, expressing a strong interest in deep cooperation with CIA to facilitate cross-border digital transformation. Furthermore, AITIA confirmed its active participation in the upcoming “2nd Digital Industry Expo & China-Thailand Digital Economy Summit” hosted by CIA next year, aiming for mutual growth through content sharing and expert interaction.

Vice President Li Hong highly commended AITIA’s proactive initiatives, stating that CIA will actively promote these upcoming events to its extensive member base and organize high-caliber Chinese enterprises to exhibit in Thailand. He emphasized that as long-term partners, both organizations should continue to enhance communication to ensure that 2026 marks a milestone year for deepening China-Thailand digital economy cooperation. The meeting concluded on a high note, signifying a productive breakthrough in bilateral relations.
