On 22 July 2026, the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) welcomed a delegation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shanxi Committee, led by Mr. Li Huiyi, President of CCPIT Shanxi Committee, together with representatives from the Shanxi Provincial Government and the business sector. The delegation was received by Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuecharorn, President of the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association, to discuss opportunities for strengthening economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Thailand and Shanxi Province, China.
The meeting served as a valuable platform for both parties to exchange perspectives on expanding bilateral cooperation and fostering stronger business connections. Discussions focused on promoting sustainable partnerships that will create new opportunities for enterprises in both Thailand and Shanxi Province.
During the meeting, Mr. Li Huiyi introduced the economic strengths, industrial capabilities, and investment potential of Shanxi Province, highlighting its strategic advantages and presenting a number of leading enterprises from the province. He emphasized that the visit represents an important step toward enhancing mutual understanding and establishing broader and deeper cooperation between businesses in Thailand and Shanxi.
Both sides expressed their commitment to leveraging international trade fairs, business exhibitions, and collaborative projects as key platforms for connecting enterprises and facilitating long-term partnerships. Future cooperation is expected to focus on supply chain integration, technology exchange, industrial collaboration, and market expansion, enabling companies from both Thailand and Shanxi Province to achieve mutual benefits and sustainable growth.
