The Asian – International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) successfully hosted the
China–Thailand Machinery Industry International Cooperation Summit
during INTERMACH 2025, held at Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna.
This international summit served as a high-level platform to foster concrete cooperation between Thailand and the People’s Republic of China in the field of industrial machinery, with a strong emphasis on technology transfer, policy dialogue, and long-term partnership development in support of Thailand’s transition toward a Smart Factory ecosystem.
Opening Ceremony and Government Representative Remarks
The opening ceremony was graciously presided over by
Mr. Phattharaphon Limpakdee,
Deputy Director-General, Office of Industrial Economics, Ministry of Industry of Thailand,
who delivered a keynote address highlighting Thailand’s strategic vision for industrial innovation and cross-border collaboration.
Chinese Enterprises Showcase Latest Machinery and Smart Solutions
Over 20 leading Chinese machinery manufacturers participated in the event, presenting their most recent innovations and technology solutions, including:
- Automated production systems
- Intelligent manufacturing technologies
- Real-time quality control solutions
- Energy-saving and eco-friendly machinery
These demonstrations provided Thai stakeholders with firsthand access to high-potential suppliers and market insights from China’s industrial sectors.
Special Session on Import Procedures and Trade Compliance
A featured presentation was delivered by
Ms. Suntareeya Thawichaprasit,
an expert in customs procedures and import regulations, on the topic
“Import Procedures and Compliance Requirements in Thailand.”
Her session helped clarify key regulatory frameworks and best practices for Thai businesses seeking to import industrial machinery and collaborate with international manufacturers.

Business Matching Between Thai and Chinese Enterprises
One of the summit’s key highlights was the Business Matching Program, which enabled
one-on-one meetings between Thai industrial operators and Chinese manufacturers.
This provided a focused environment for in-depth discussions on cooperation opportunities in areas such as:
- Product distribution
- Local manufacturing partnerships
- Joint ventures and technology transfer
The initiative helped lay the foundation for long-term partnerships and mutual investment between the two countries’ private sectors.
