On March 7, 2025, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, a Thai delegation paid an official visit to the Anhui Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The delegation was led by Mrs. Chamaiporn Juecharoen, Honorary President of the Asian – International Trade and Investment Association, accompanied by Mr. Wu Zhiyi, Honorary Chairman of the association, Ms. Penrapee Thongin, a specialist in the promotion and management of fruit trees, perennial crops, and rubber at the Department of Agricultural Extension, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand, and Mr. Norabodee Phadungcharoen, CEO of Farm Expo Co., Ltd.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Wang Xuejun, Director General of the Anhui Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Both sides exchanged ideas on strengthening agricultural cooperation between Thailand and China, including smart agriculture technologies, the development of high-quality agricultural products, and expanding international markets for agricultural goods.
During the meeting, the Thai side extended a formal invitation to the Anhui Department to participate in Farm Expo 2025, scheduled to be held in Thailand from September 25 to 28, 2025. The expo will serve as a significant platform for showcasing innovations, technologies, and opportunities for international collaboration in the agricultural sector.
