On May 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM, the
Asian – International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA)
led a high-level delegation from the China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF) to pay a courtesy visit to the
Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT)
at its headquarters in Bangkok.
The Chinese delegation was headed by
Mr. Song Xiaogang, Secretary-General of CMIF,
accompanied by senior representatives from Chinese industrial enterprises and the AITIA leadership team.
IEAT Hosts the Chinese Delegation, Discusses Thailand’s Industrial Potential
The delegation was warmly received by
Ms. Vitchuda Simakajornboon,
Deputy Governor of the IEAT,
along with senior officials including:
- Ms. Rakcharin Thonghong, Director of Marketing and Customer Relations
- Ms. Nittaya Kuksan, Director of Marketing Division
During the meeting, the IEAT provided a comprehensive overview of Thailand’s industrial infrastructure,
investment promotion policies, and facilities across industrial estates nationwide,
with a focus on supporting foreign investors in the machinery, automation, and high-tech sectors.

Purpose of the Visit
This visit aimed to:
- Strengthen bilateral ties between Thailand’s state agencies and Chinese industrial organizations
- Facilitate information exchange on industrial development policies and trade mechanisms
- Explore the potential for establishing Chinese manufacturing bases in Thailand’s industrial estates
AITIA also presented its future cooperation plans, emphasizing its role in facilitating:
- Cross-border business matching
- Technology and machinery import coordination
- Public-private partnerships in the industrial sector

AITIA’s Role in Advancing Thai–Chinese Industrial Collaboration
As a key facilitator of Thai–Chinese industrial cooperation, AITIA continues to build bridges between:
- Government agencies
- Industrial associations
- Private enterprises
With growing interest from Chinese investors in Thailand’s infrastructure, logistics, and manufacturing zones,
AITIA plays a vital role in ensuring strategic alignment and smooth coordination for long-term success.
This visit marked another step forward in enhancing China–Thailand industrial connectivity,
