Bangkok, March 31, 2026 – Ms. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association, was honored to attend “The Yellow River-Mekong River Dialogue & Economic and Trade Exchange Conference” at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC). She was officially invited by the Dezhou Foreign Affairs Office, the main organizer, to jointly promote trade cooperation and cultural exchange between Thailand and Shandong Province.
Event Overview and Objectives
This event was co-organized by agencies from Shandong Province, People’s Republic of China, and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The main objectives were:
- Promoting Cultural Exchange: To build mutual understanding and showcase the beautiful cultures of both Shandong Province and Thailand.
- Supporting Business Networks: To expand opportunities and strengthen trade relations between Chinese and Thai entrepreneurs.
Key Figures and Distinguished Speakers
The conference was co-chaired by Mr. Pinit Jarusombat and Ms. Lertlak Leelaruangsaeng, who presided over the opening ceremony. Special keynote addresses were delivered by distinguished speakers, including:
- The Minister-Counsellor for Commercial Affairs of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Thailand.
- A high-ranking representative from the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand.
The lectures focused on sharing economic visions, exchanging perspectives, and discussing guidelines for regional trade development.
Shandong Cultural Arts Exhibition
In addition to the economic discussions, an exhibition of Chinese paintings and calligraphy was held outside the conference hall. The exhibition showcased the unique and magnificent art of Shandong Province, providing attendees with a valuable opportunity to experience and appreciate Chinese cultural aesthetics up close.
