Effective 1 May 2025, all foreign travelers entering Thailand are required to register for the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) through an online system at least three (3) days before travel. This new regulation, announced by the Immigration Bureau of Thailand, aims to modernize and streamline the immigration process for international arrivals while enhancing security and efficiency at border checkpoints.
The TDAC is not a visa but a digital entry form that must be completed online prior to arrival.
What is the TDAC?
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) replaces the traditional paper-based arrival forms previously required upon entry. This system has been developed to support Thailand’s transition to digital immigration and is part of a broader effort to accommodate growing cross-border business, tourism, and investment activities.
Travelers can complete the form through the official website:

Guidance for International Delegations and Business Visitors
The Asian – International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) recommends that all international delegates, business representatives, and event participants traveling to Thailand from May 2025 onward complete the TDAC registration no later than 3 days prior to travel.
Our association is ready to support and coordinate with foreign organizations that require assistance with documentation or entry requirements for business visits to Thailand.
For official events such as the Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2025 (TESE 2025) or FarmExpo, we encourage all foreign participants to complete this step to ensure smooth entry.
