The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in cross-border e-commerce, trade, and investment between Thailand and China.
During the discussions, the Suzhou delegation highlighted the city’s strong economic and industrial capabilities. Suzhou is one of China’s leading manufacturing and international trade hubs, with a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) exceeding RMB 2.77 trillion and ranking third nationwide in import-export value. The city maintains trade relations with more than 230 countries and regions worldwide.
Regarding Thailand–Suzhou cooperation, the delegation noted that bilateral trade has continued to grow steadily. Suzhou’s cross-border e-commerce sector has recorded an average annual growth rate of over 80%, supported by integrated government services covering customs, taxation, finance, and investment facilitation. The city has also established specialized industrial parks and industry funds to support enterprises expanding into international markets.
The meeting also explored opportunities for market expansion and product exchange. Suzhou aims to promote premium products such as silk, smart home technologies, biomedical products, and innovative technologies in Thailand and ASEAN markets. Meanwhile, Chinese enterprises have expressed strong interest in importing high-quality Thai agricultural products and raw materials, including rice, cassava, fruits, and natural rubber.
Both sides agreed to strengthen future collaboration through business and investment delegation exchanges, study visits, business matching activities, and knowledge-sharing programs in cross-border e-commerce. These initiatives are expected to deepen bilateral cooperation and contribute to sustainable economic growth for both countries.

This meeting reflects the shared commitment of both parties to strengthening in-depth cooperation in cross-border e-commerce, trade, and investment. The Asian-International Trade and Investment Association stands ready to serve as a central platform for coordination and business networking, fostering strategic partnerships and supporting sustainable economic growth for both countries.
