CCPIT Shanxi Strengthens Thailand–China Trade and Investment Cooperation with the ASEAN Entrepreneurs Association


On 23 July 2026, a business delegation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shanxi Province, People’s Republic of China, visited the ASEAN Entrepreneurs Association to discuss opportunities for strengthening economic, trade, and investment cooperation between China and Thailand. During the meeting, the Shanxi delegation showcased the province’s strengths as one of China’s major industrial hubs, highlighting advanced manufacturing, agricultural and food processing, clean energy and electric vehicles (EVs), as well as cross-border e-commerce and logistics. The delegation also invited Thai entrepreneurs to participate in Shanxi’s upcoming trade and economic activities.


The discussions further explored potential collaboration in smart infrastructure, cultural tourism, technological innovation, product standards, and regional market expansion across ASEAN. Shanxi representatives expressed strong interest in using Thailand as a strategic manufacturing and distribution hub for Southeast Asia. In response, the ASEAN Entrepreneurs Association reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Chinese investors through business establishment services, government coordination, talent development, and comprehensive investment facilitation, paving the way for stronger and more sustainable Thailand–China economic partnerships.
