
Bangkok, February 26, 2026 – The Asian-International Trade and Investment Association has marked another milestone in driving the nation’s digital economy and society. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association, represented the organization to receive the DCT Digital Ecosystem Partner Awards 2026 in the “International Digital Synergy Enabler” category. The award ceremony took place at the DCT Digital Policy Conference, hosted by the Digital Council of Thailand (DCT) at the Grand Hall, 3rd Floor, Unicorn Building, True Digital Park West.

This prestigious award recognizes partner organizations that have played a crucial role in promoting, supporting, and collaborating with the Digital Council of Thailand to advance digital industry missions and development policies continuously. It reflects the Association’s strong commitment to serving as a vital link and fostering international digital cooperation.
This year’s DCT Digital Policy Conference was held under the core concept of presenting “Policy Recommendations from the Digital Business and Industry Sector.” It served as a significant platform to overcome limitations and exponentially elevate Thailand’s digital industry to become the digital hub of the ASEAN region. During the event, urgent policy recommendations were summarized to be submitted to the government. The conference also featured Keynote Sessions by prominent national figures who illustrated the various dimensions of Thailand’s digital future:
- Nongkran Chomphunut, Chair of DCT, delivered a keynote on “DCT MOVE THAILAND FORWARD: DRIVING THAILAND’S DIGITAL FUTURE”, presenting DCT’s direction and the 6 digital industries aimed at elevating the country.
- Wetang Phuangsup, Secretary-General of the Office of the National Digital Economy and Society Commission, spoke on “DIGITAL POLICY SUPPORT (FUNDING / TALENT / REGULATION)”, focusing on unlocking policy restrictions to transform Thailand’s digital landscape to international standards.
- Suttiket Thatpitakakul, Deputy Secretary-General of the Board of Investment (BOI), addressed “GLOBAL TECH INVESTMENT”, providing an in-depth look at digital investments in DATA CENTER and AI, answering the critical question: What do foreign investors want from Thailand?
