Bangkok – On January 26, 2026, from 16:00–17:00, Mr. Wu Zhiyi, Honorary President, and Mr. Ekavut Chueacharoen, Advisor to the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), participated in a virtual meeting with the China Food Industry Association. The meeting was led by Mr. Li Baohua, President, and Mr. Wang Yimin, Secretary General , to discuss collaborative strategies for promoting the food industry.

Elevating International Cooperation and Knowledge Exchange
Building upon the success of the “Thai Brands to China” initiatives, both parties agreed to expand this concept to foster a sustainable balance and enhance business exchanges between the two nations. This cooperation focuses on two primary dimensions: product exhibition and distribution, as well as the exchange of industrial knowledge.
As a concrete starting point for this partnership, the China Food Industry Association has invited AITIA to participate in the following major international events:
- The National Food Industry Channel Summit (for major wholesalers), scheduled for March 26–28, 2026, in Chengdu.
- The 4th China International Food and Ingredient Expo and China Pre-made Food Industry Expo, held from April 10–12, 2026, in Dongguan, Guangdong Province.
Market Data Preparation for Farm Expo 2026
Furthermore, both organizations discussed preparations for Farm Expo 2026. The China Food Industry Association expressed significant interest and requested in-depth information regarding the exhibition space, the number and types of exhibitors, booth structures, and an analysis of the demand for Chinese products among Thai consumers. This information will be used to effectively encourage and support Chinese entrepreneurs in their participation in the upcoming event.
