On July 3, 2025, representatives from the Asian – International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), led by Ms. Thanyarat Sripattanachot, Deputy Secretary-General, together with Mr. Methawut Klannurak, Business Promotion Representative, and Ms. Vanida Bumrungkij, Exhibition Project Manager, paid a courtesy visit to M.L. Nongkran Chomphunut, President of the Digital Council of Thailand, along with Ms. Khemanarin Rattana-umpawan, Vice President, and Dr. Athip Asvanunt, Executive Director, at the Digital Council Office.
The purpose of the visit was to present the upcoming Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2025, scheduled to take place from September 25–27, 2025, at Hall 9, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on potential collaboration to promote knowledge and skills in E-Commerce among Thai entrepreneurs. Key areas discussed included capacity building, digital platform utilization, and market expansion strategies at both regional and global levels.
AITIA also extended an official invitation for the Digital Council to become a key partner and to join the academic seminar sessions of the Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2025. The event aims to serve as a vital platform for driving Thai businesses toward sustainable growth in the digital economy.
