AITIA and depa Lay Groundwork for Collaboration on Major “Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2025” to Propel Thai Entrepreneurs into the Global Market
BANGKOK, July 30, 2025 – The Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) continues its mission to foster the sustainable growth of Thai entrepreneurs in the digital economy era. Most recently, the association’s executive team held a high-level meeting with executives from the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa).
During the visit, the AITIA delegation, led by Dr. Nattapach Chaisirikul, Vice President, and Mr. Pipat Kradjamnong, Deputy Secretary-General, met with Mr. Hatsadin Kamphirannon, Director of the Asset Management Bureau at depa, to present a new project and discuss future collaboration.
Discussion Highlight: Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2025
AITIA presented its plan to organize the “Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2025,” a large-scale trade fair and business matching event for the e-commerce industry. The expo aims to serve as a crucial platform for Thai entrepreneurs to showcase their quality products and services to leading buyers and e-commerce platforms from around the world, with a particular focus on the Asian market.
Pathways for Collaboration between AITIA and depa
The discussion covered potential avenues for cooperation between the two organizations, which share a common goal of enhancing the capabilities of Thai entrepreneurs. Preliminary areas for collaboration include:
- Expo Support and Promotion: To reach digital entrepreneurs and startups within depa’s network.
- Knowledge-Sharing Activities: Co-hosting seminars and workshops on topics such as digital marketing, cross-border e-commerce, and the use of technology for business efficiency.
- Network Integration: Connecting AITIA’s members with the digital entrepreneurs and developers supported by depa.
