
GUANGZHOU, CHINA – On December 7, 2025, Ms. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), led a Thai delegation to Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. The mission aimed to explore the Chinese herbal medicine market and was warmly welcomed by Ms. Mao Jiajuan, Executive of Jutianfu (a leading producer of processed Huajuhong), alongside a group of prominent Chinese entrepreneurs.

Field Visit to Qingping Herbal Market The morning session featured a visit to the Qingping Chinese Medicinal Herb Market, the largest wholesale hub in Guangzhou and one of China’s premier herbal trading centers. This visit provided the Thai delegation with deep insights into market scale, product diversity, and the intricate trading processes of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

Strategic Discussion on Trade and Standardization In the afternoon, a bilateral trade meeting was held at the Yinghe Law Firm to discuss the opening of the Thai market for processed Chinese herbal products. Key topics of the discussion included:
- Production Innovation: Sharing information on advanced processing technologies and innovations to ensure premium product quality.
- Certification and Compliance: Understanding the regulatory frameworks and certification standards of both Thailand and China to ensure legal distribution.
- Trade Facilitation: Reviewing relevant trade laws and regulations to minimize barriers and streamline import-export procedures.
