.
The Thai government, through the Miistry of Commerce, released the 2024 (January – December) Thailand Export Report, showing that the country’s total exports reached $300.53 billion (approximately 10.5 trillion baht), an increase of 5.4%, exceeding the initial target of 1-2%, marking the highest record in history. Exports to major markets, such as the United States and China, grew by 12%, while exports to secondary markets expanded by 6.2%. Key products that saw significant growth include rubber, fresh chicken, and chilled, frozen, and processed fruits.
It is expected that exports in 2025 will grow by 2-3%, driven by the following factors:
✅ Global economic growth maintaining a stable trend
✅ Lower inflation pressure and interest rates
✅ Relocation of manufacturing bases to ASEAN, particularly Thailand
✅ Promotion of Thailand’s soft power alongside exports to enhance global brand recognition
Thailand’s export industry is moving towards high-quality development, with increasing global demand for “Made in Thailand” products.
