Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), Attended the “Sustainable SMEs, Resilient Thailand” Policy Forum

On 18 June 2026, Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), attended the policy forum entitled “Sustainable SMEs, Resilient Thailand”, held at the Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai in Bangkok. The event was hosted by the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP).

The forum aimed to share knowledge and policy recommendations to strengthen the sustainable development of Thai SMEs amid the rapidly evolving global economy. It also focused on enhancing the resilience of Thailand’s SME ecosystem by integrating policy, innovation, and sustainable development strategies to improve the international competitiveness of Thai enterprises.

The event brought together policymakers, representatives from international organizations, and private-sector leaders to exchange perspectives on key issues, including access to finance, digital transformation, and the development of green supply chains. These discussions also serve as part of Thailand’s preparations for hosting the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group Annual Meetings 2026 in October.

Mrs. Chamaiporn’s participation reflects AITIA’s commitment to closely monitoring global economic, trade, and investment developments while supporting Thai entrepreneurs in strengthening their competitiveness, embracing sustainable business practices, and expanding their opportunities in the global marketplace.
