On January 29, 2026, at 4:00 PM, Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), accompanied by the association’s executive committee, held an official meeting with senior executives from the Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce in the People’s Republic of China. The meeting aimed to discuss economic cooperation frameworks and the organization of upcoming trade exhibitions.

The delegation was warmly received by Liu Guang, Deputy Director-General of the Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce, who presided over the meeting. Also in attendance were key officials, including:

- Zhang Rui, Director of Foreign Investment Administration
- Su Yan, Researcher of Foreign Economic Cooperation and Investment

Key Achievements and Collaborative Highlights:
- Elevating TESE 2026: The Association expressed its gratitude to the Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce for its support in officially including the “Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2026” (TESE 2026) in the provincial list of specially recommended overseas exhibitions. This recognition underscores the confidence in the event’s potential as a premier trade platform.
- Anhui Buyer Delegation to Thailand: The Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce announced its intention to organize a delegation of entrepreneurs and business leaders from Anhui to attend TESE 2026 in Thailand. The mission will focus on trade negotiations and product procurement, creating significant business opportunities for Thai entrepreneurs.
- International Network Connectivity: The Department extended an invitation to the Association to participate in major international events hosted in China, including:
- RCEP Local Government & Sister Cities Forum: Held in Huangshan City, featuring forums, expos, and business matching sessions.
- World Manufacturing Convention: A global manufacturing summit scheduled for July 2026 in Hefei City.

The atmosphere of the meeting was cordial, with both parties engaging in deep exchanges regarding the facilitation of Anhui-based enterprises to exhibit products and expand their markets in Thailand and the ASEAN region. Both sides reached a mutual agreement to establish a strong partnership, serving as a vital bridge to foster sustainable economic and trade growth between Thailand and Anhui Province.
