
On December 12, 2025, a delegation from the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) visited the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shandong Sub-council for an official working meeting. Mr. Meng Xiangdong, Chairman of CCPIT Shandong, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the enhancement of economic ties and the promotion of bilateral trade and investment.

Chairman Meng Xiangdong shared updates on Shandong’s latest economic developments and international trade initiatives. He proposed strategic recommendations, including the organization of reciprocal business delegations and collaboration on trade exhibitions. These proposals were met with broad consensus from both sides.

Ms. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, Honorary President of AITIA, expressed her delight in visiting Shandong and conveyed her sincere gratitude for the warm hospitality. She emphasized that this visit serves as a catalyst for further practical cooperation, aiming to achieve mutual benefits and shared prosperity.

Mr. Wu Zhiyi, Honorary President of AITIA, presented the association’s key work plan for 2026, which focuses on core sectors such as E-commerce, Industry, and Agriculture. This roadmap provides a clear direction and framework for future collaborative projects.

The meeting was held in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.
