Hubei, China – Recently, a delegation from the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) visited Hubei Province and received a warm welcome from the Hubei Provincial Department of Commerce. Mr. Hu Dong, Deputy Director-General of the Department, along with heads of relevant divisions, presided over the meeting.
The discussions were highly productive, with both parties engaging in extensive exchanges. Mr. Hu Dong emphasized that Thailand serves as a crucial hub for Hubei’s expansion into the Southeast Asian market. The department expressed strong interest in several major exhibitions promoted by AITIA, including:
- Asia International Industrial Expo
- Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo
- Thailand Agricultural Expo
The Department of Commerce indicated that these events would be carefully evaluated for inclusion in Hubei’s 2026 Key Overseas Exhibition Plan. This initiative aims to actively organize and support local enterprises to participate in these international events. Both parties look forward to establishing a regular interaction mechanism to further deepen bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
The meeting concluded with a commemorative photo session, marking a new chapter of partnership and laying a solid foundation for future trade relations between Hubei and Thailand.
