Strengthening Strategic China–Thailand Industrial Cooperation
On 15 May 2025, the Asian–International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), led by
Mr. Song Xiaogang, Secretary-General of the China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF),
together with senior representatives from CMIF, AITIA, and leading Chinese enterprises,
paid an official visit to the Machinery and Metal Group of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI)
to discuss strategic cooperation in the fields of industrial machinery, technology development, and cross-border workforce advancement.
The delegation was warmly received by
Mr. Somboon Pitayarangsarit,
Chairman of the Machinery and Metal Group, FTI.
The meeting brought together over 36 business representatives from 23 companies,
spanning various sectors such as automation, smart manufacturing, industrial components, and machinery innovation.
