On March 7, 2025, from 09:00 to 10:30 AM, a Thai delegation paid an official visit to the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The delegation was led by Mrs. Chamaiporn Juecharoen, Honorary President of the Asian – International Trade and Investment Association, accompanied by Mr. Wu Zhiyi, Honorary Chairman of the association, Ms. Penrapee Thongin, a specialist in the promotion and management of fruit trees, perennial crops, and rubber at the Department of Agricultural Extension, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand, and Mr. Norabodee Phadungcharoen, CEO of Farm Expo Co., Ltd.
The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Le Xiyong, Deputy Director General of the Department. Both sides exchanged views on future cooperation in the field of agriculture between Thailand and China, including knowledge sharing on agricultural technologies, the development of high-quality agricultural products, and enhancing market access and trade channels.
During the meeting, the Thai side extended a formal invitation to the Jiangxi Department of Agriculture to participate in Farm Expo 2025, scheduled to be held in Thailand from September 25–28, 2025. The expo will serve as a significant platform for showcasing agricultural innovations, technologies, and business collaboration opportunities across the region.
