To implement the work plan of the provincial high-level opening-up and high-quality investment promotion conference, the “2024 Thai Business Association (Enterprise) Visit to Sishui” was successfully held from June 18 to 20. The event was hosted by the Jining Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Thai Asia International Trade and Investment Chamber of Commerce, and organized by the Sishui Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
A delegation of 41 representatives from Thai business associations and enterprises participated in a series of activities in Sishui, including the 2024 China Jining (Sishui) – Thailand Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference, the 2024 Sishui Premium and Innovative Products Exhibition, the China Jining (Sishui) – Thailand Economic and Trade Seminar, and on-site factory visits to key enterprises.
At the 2024 China Jining (Sishui) – Thailand Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference, attendees watched promotional videos about Jining City and Sishui County. The Thai Informa Group introduced an overview of the 41st Thailand Industrial Fair.
Four Chinese enterprises, including Shandong Onov CNC Tools Co., Ltd., Shandong Ruijia Beer Equipment Co., Ltd., Shandong Sishui Haiyun Grain Machine Co., Ltd., and Sishui Spark Hardware Factory, presented their products. Additionally, the Sishui Council for the Promotion of International Trade signed a cooperation framework agreement with the Thai Machinery Industry Association.
During the business matchmaking session, Chinese and Thai companies engaged in in-depth discussions on economic, trade, and technological cooperation.At the China Jining (Sishui) – Thailand Economic and Trade Seminar, participants discussed ways to enhance trade and investment cooperation between Jining and Thailand.
After the event, the Thai delegation visited key enterprises in Sishui, including Shandong Sishui Haiyun Grain Machine Co., Ltd., Shandong Shunkai Composite Materials Co., Ltd., Shandong Intercity Rail Transit Technology Co., Ltd., Shandong Huichuan Auto Parts Co., Ltd., Shandong Onov CNC Tools Co., Ltd., Shandong Jinlide Paper Industry Co., Ltd., and Shandong Ruijia Beer Equipment Co., Ltd.
Some interested companies conducted one-on-one business negotiations: Shandong Tool Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and CC Auto Parts Co., Ltd. placed an order for some sample products and reached an initial purchase agreement. Sishui Lifeng Food Co., Ltd. and Ruiwei (Thailand) Co., Ltd. reached a trade agreement for sweet potato products. Gelong Environmental Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd. and WJ Technology Co., Ltd. reached an agreement on equipment design and processing. Shandong Hengyi Kaifeng Machinery Co., Ltd. and Thailand Machining Center Co., Ltd. reached an OEM cooperation agreement.
Key attendees included Yang Xiaodong, President of the Jining Council for the Promotion of International Trade; Li Zhengtong, Deputy Researcher; Zhang Yufei, Deputy Secretary of the Sishui County Party Committee; Guo Qingguo, Standing Committee Member and Deputy County Mayor of Sishui; Ning Jicheng, Vice Chairman of the Sishui County Political Consultative Conference; along with key officials from trade promotion councils in various counties of Jining and representatives from major enterprises in Sishui.
