On October 3, 2024, the Thailand Digital Economy and Society Council hosted an official meeting with the Asian International Trade and Investment Association and the The Federation of Thai-Chinese Education Association at its conference room. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on future collaborations, focusing on the broad impact of digital development on the economy, trade, investment, and education.
During the meeting, the Thailand Digital Economy and Society Council expressed its willingness to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the two associations to jointly promote cooperative projects in the digital economy sector. The discussion also covered how digitalization can facilitate trade and investment between Thailand and China, particularly in addressing the challenges and opportunities brought by the global digital economic transformation.
Furthermore, the cooperation framework will emphasize talent development and education, aiming to enhance the competitiveness of students and professionals from both Thailand and China. This initiative seeks to better prepare them for the demands of the future international market.
