
Bangkok – On May 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM , the Asian-International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) hosted a reception for a delegation from the Hubei Provincial Department of Commerce, People’s Republic of China, on the occasion of their visit to Thailand to participate in the Intermach exhibition. The meeting took place at Room 402, 4th Floor, Digital Interdisciplinary and Robotics Institute (DIRI), Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon.

The meeting was honored by the presence of AITIA executives, including:
- Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President
- Mr. Wu Zhiyi, Honorary President
- Mr. Eakavud Chuecharoen, Advisor
- Miss Supisara Sonthiphansak, Assistant to the President and Interpreter
The Hubei delegation featured prominent figures from the commerce and technology sectors, including:
- Ms. Deng Qian, Director of Hubei Trade Development Service Center
- Mr. Hu Yonghua, Party Secretary and Director of Xiantao Commerce Bureau
- Mr. Deng Biao, President of Zhongke Fanyu (Wuhan) Technology Co., Ltd.
- Ms. Gong Jingying, Director of International Exhibition Department, Hubei Provincial Foreign Affairs Service Co., Ltd.

The meeting began with mutual introductions , followed by a welcome address from the AITIA leadership. Ms. Deng Qian, Director of the Hubei Trade Development Service Center, then delivered remarks emphasizing the importance of promoting economic and trade cooperation and the co-organization of exhibitions between Thailand and China. Discussions also highlighted the integration of AI innovations and intelligent translation systems for cross-border business operations.
In the final session, both parties exchanged views on driving industrial and e-commerce growth in the Thai-ASEAN market. The meeting concluded with a commemorative group photo, marking a significant step toward attracting Chinese entrepreneurs to invest in Thailand and supporting Thai businesses in expanding their reach into the Chinese market.
