[Beijing, January 27, 2026] – The Asian International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) has taken a significant step in fostering international educational cooperation. On January 26, 2026, AITIA representatives met with the China Association for Non-Government Education (CANGE) in Beijing to discuss deepening bilateral ties and to plan upcoming strategic exchange activities.

A key figure at the meeting was Dr. Xiao Kaining, Chairman and President of Guangxi Economic Vocational College. Attending in his capacity as Executive Director of the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Development Committee and Standing Director of CANGE, Dr. Xiao delivered a speech highlighting the committee’s dedication to building a multi-level cooperation platform. He emphasized the importance of bridging Thai and Chinese institutions to facilitate faculty exchanges, joint curriculum development, and student training programs.

Key Outcomes and Future Collaborations:
- Upcoming Major Conference: The meeting resulted in a consensus to fully support AITIA’s initiative to co-host the “China-Thailand Private Education Exchange and Cooperation Conference 2026.” Scheduled for November 2026 in Bangkok, this event—along with the “EdTex Expo 2026“—aims to achieve substantive results in college-to-college partnerships.
- Tripartite Cooperation Model: Dr. Xiao expressed strong support for integrating vocational education with industry needs. He advocated for a “School-Enterprise-Association” linkage model, creating a sustainable ecosystem for workforce development.

During the session, Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of AITIA , engaged in fruitful discussions with Dr. Xiao. This meeting marks a new milestone in China-Thailand private education cooperation, moving towards a more institutionalized and pragmatic approach to serve the “Belt and Road” initiative and regional economic development.
