During the meeting, Ms. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, President of AITIA, introduced the association’s mission, while Mr. Wu Zhiyi, President of AITIA, presented the “Thailand Agricultural Expo.” Deputy Director Yang expressed strong interest in the expo, stating that the department will actively organize leading agricultural enterprises and technology firms from Shandong to participate, leveraging this platform to introduce Shandong’s premium products and innovations to Thailand and the ASEAN market.

Mr. Yang emphasized that Shandong is a leading agricultural province, while Thailand is a key Southeast Asian partner with unique agricultural strengths. He noted vast potential for collaboration in modern farming, livestock, and food processing. To ensure tangible results, he proposed deepening communication mechanisms and assigning dedicated personnel to oversee project implementation.

The meeting concluded with a commitment from the Shandong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to organize a reciprocal visit to Thailand in 2026. This visit will aim to inspect agricultural projects and expand cooperation further. The session ended with a commemorative photo, marking a new chapter in Shandong-Thailand agricultural partnership.
