On the afternoon of June 26, 2025, a delegation from the Asian International Trade and Investment Association, led by Honorary Chairwoman Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuercharoen, Honorary Advisor Mr. Eakawut Juercharoen, and Honorary Chair Mr. Wu Zhiyi, attended the Cross-border Logistics Demand-Supply Matching Event in Yantai.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Ms. Qin Liyan, Deputy Director of the Yantai Municipal Bureau of Commerce. The association extended an invitation for the bureau and local businesses to participate in the Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2025 (TESE 2025), which will be held from September 25–27, 2025, at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani in Bangkok. The Chinese side expressed great interest and will consider participating actively.
In addition, the delegation organized a special briefing titled “Digital Going Global: Winning ASEAN,” presented by Mr. Wu Zhiyi, which attracted over 200 business representatives. The session covered trends in the Thai and ASEAN e-commerce markets, differences in consumer behavior, investment risks and precautions, market entry channels, competitive advantages, and future cooperation opportunities, receiving strong interest from attendees.
After the meeting, many entrepreneurs engaged with the association’s delegation to learn more about the Thai market and potential future cooperation, laying the foundation for deeper trade ties between China and Thailand.
