June 23, 2025 – Mr. Chen Dayang, Second-level Counsellor from the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, People’s Republic of China, paid a courtesy visit to senior executives of the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP) in Bangkok to discuss strategies for enhancing Thailand–China trade cooperation. The primary focus was to promote the participation of Thai SMEs in the upcoming 2025 Hunan (Changsha) Cross-border E-commerce Trade Fair.
The discussion highlighted a shared commitment to developing the digital economy and expanding regional business opportunities through cross-border e-commerce platforms. Both parties agreed that empowering SMEs to access new markets, especially in China, and adopt cutting-edge digital commerce technologies will be a key driver of sustainable growth.
The 2025 Hunan (Changsha) Cross-border E-commerce Trade Fair is recognized as one of the leading international platforms connecting e-commerce businesses from China, Thailand, and other countries. The fair aims to foster business networking, expand export opportunities, and support knowledge sharing in digital trade, logistics, and online marketing technologies.
This meeting marked an important step toward strengthening Thai–Chinese trade relations and empowering regional SMEs to thrive in the global digital economy.
