On June 23, 2025, the Asian – International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) welcomed Mr. Chen Dayang, Second-level Counselor from the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, People’s Republic of China, at the AITIA headquarters in Bangkok. The meeting was hosted by Dr.Natpapat Chaisirikul, Honorary President of AITIA.
The discussion focused on strengthening Thailand–China trade cooperation, particularly in the cross-border e-commerce sector. Both parties explored collaboration in identifying and supporting Thai businesses to participate in the upcoming “Hunan (Changsha) Cross-Border E-Commerce Expo 2025”, which will be held from August 29–31, 2025, at the Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center (Mango Hall) in Changsha, Hunan Province.
The Changsha E-Commerce Expo is now in its fourth consecutive year and has become one of the region’s most influential platforms connecting global e-commerce ecosystems. The event gathers manufacturers, exporters, platform operators, and service providers from China, Thailand, and other countries worldwide, offering extensive opportunities for B2B networking, product showcasing, and market expansion.
AITIA expressed its commitment to facilitating the participation of Thai enterprises in this major expo and enhancing their access to Chinese markets via online trade platforms. The association aims to promote long-term and sustainable business partnerships through digital commerce innovation and international cooperation.
