Fostering Dialogue on Clean Energy Innovation and Industrial Estate Investment
On 15 May 2025, the Asian – International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA),
led by Ms. Chamaiporn Juercharoen, Honorary President of AITIA,
alongside Mr. Song Xiaogang, Secretary-General of the China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF),
and a delegation of 36 senior executives from 23 leading Chinese companies,
visited IRPC Public Company Limited – a fully integrated refinery and petrochemical complex in Thailand.
Warm Welcome and Strategic Discussions on Future Energy
The delegation was warmly welcomed by:
- Ms. Jeerathip Ongkarueangphong, Manager of Port Business and Property Department
- Mr. Wichit Saengsukon, Manager of Petrochemical Technology Department
The visit featured an insightful exchange on strategic topics, including:
- Clean energy research and development initiatives
- Investment prospects in renewable energy such as biodiesel and alternative fuels
- IRPC’s industrial estate infrastructure and its readiness to host foreign investment
- Use of environmentally responsible technologies in petrochemical and energy operations
The visit marked a valuable opportunity for Chinese companies to better understand Thailand’s energy sector and engage in potential cooperation on energy transition, sustainability, and technology transfer.
