On April 4, 2025, the Asian – International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA) warmly welcomed a delegation from Longyang District, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province, People’s Republic of China, at the Institute of Digital Technology and Robotics Research, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The reception was led by AITIA executives including Khun Chamaiporn Juecharoen, Honorary President; Dr. Natpapach Chaishirikul, Vice President; and Khun Aekwut Juecharoen, Honorary Advisor.
The Baoshan delegation was headed by Mr. Yang Junbo, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Longyang District, accompanied by Ms. Li Yingnan, Director of the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology; Ms. Chen Lishan, Director of the Bureau of Culture and Tourism; Ms. Tang Kaiyan, Level 4 Researcher from the Investment Promotion Bureau; and private sector representatives Mr. Ren Fuqing and Mr. Sun Jianan from Kunming Yizhong Auto Sales Co., Ltd.
This visit aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in culture, tourism, industrial development, and business connectivity between Thailand and China. In particular, the discussion highlighted the coffee industry, a key sector in Baoshan—a mountainous region with an ideal climate for cultivating high-quality coffee. Baoshan coffee beans have won national gold awards and are highly regarded in Europe and the United States for their aroma, flavor, and environmentally conscious production processes.
On this occasion, AITIA extended an invitation to the Baoshan delegation to participate in the upcoming Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo 2025 (TESE), a major cross-border e-commerce product sourcing exhibition to be held from September 25–27, 2025 at IMPACT Exhibition Center, Muang Thong Thani. The event will serve as a key platform for introducing Baoshan’s products to ASEAN entrepreneurs and fostering concrete international business partnerships.
