On March 10, 2025, the Asian – International Trade and Investment Association (AITIA), led by its Honorary President Khun Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, paid an official visit to the Yantai Sanzhan Wholesale Market Service Center — a key hub supporting both offline and online commerce in Shandong Province.
The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Zhao Xinzhi, First-Class Investigator of the Yantai Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Ms. Xu Chunyan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Service Center. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions about the Center’s pivotal role in integrating traditional wholesale operations with cutting-edge e-commerce platforms, aiming to enhance logistics systems, marketplace development, procurement services, and SME incubation.
Recognized as one of Yantai’s most important commercial infrastructures, the Center serves as a national model for regional e-commerce transformation. By combining digital technology with practical market operations, it empowers local businesses to access broader markets with greater efficiency.
During the visit, AITIA formally invited the Center to participate in the Thailand E-Commerce Selection Expo (TESE), to be held from September 25–27, 2025 at Hall 5, IMPACT Exhibition Center, Bangkok. TESE is set to become a dynamic platform for linking Chinese suppliers with Thai and ASEAN e-commerce ecosystems, creating new cross-border trade and investment opportunities.
